In essence, art is a way for me to communicate my feelings and impressions about the world around me. Pastel is my preferred medium because it allows me to draw and paint at the same time. I am primarily a landscape painter with a passion for capturing the beautiful light, shadows and shapes that Upstate NY affords us. My goal is to bring the viewer of my work back in touch with the beauty of nature and reignite the emotional connection for nature that resides deep within each of us.
